Plan a social function at the Totness Inn Hotel

The Totness Inn Hotel "Great Hall" was constructed in 1866 by owners, John and Catherine SCHOFIELD.

Meetings and gatherings of various kinds have been held in this room since that time, ranging from political debate, weddings, formal dances and court proceedings.

We can seat up to 60 people in this room and can cater for any event you wish to hold.

The Great Hall or Long Room as it was once called.

With pressed metal ceilings, baltic pine flooring, and a stunning mantlepiece housing a wood combustion heater for the long winters, this room transports you back to a simpler time. Now beautifully dressed with Axminster heritage carpets and 1930s church pews, the walls are adorned with artwork dating from the early to late 1800s — creating an atmosphere much as it would have been in years gone by.
